But because since it’s for assignment and I didn’t
have time to go to fancy restaurant or something and I can tell it is tasty or
not since it’s not my own cooking, then I’ll tell you about the only thing that
I can say, THE VERY BEST IN UNIVERSE.
“Introducing, PECEL MADIUN!!!”
Yeah, my friend. You didn’t misread this. Pecel
Madiun, is the only best thing that you need, that you ever taste. And I can
proof it to you, my reader. The reason why Pecel Madiun is the only best food
in... My heart, I don’t know about you. Maybe you only prefer expensive sh*t
that taste pretty horrible, I’m not sure.
Okay, since it is not a very full-versed review. I
didn’t go into Reviewer Mode. And speak by my own language. Warning, there
might be some bad words or some insult, because this is my way of talking.
The Ingredients.
Most people didn’t know what Pecel Madiun is, or even worse they might not know where Madiun is (True Story BTW). Why I said this? Well, because my friend, most people didn’t know, the one and only true Pecel in Indonesia... Okay, exaggerated. In Padang they have their own Pecel (or Pical, they said). But in Java Island, they ate the wrong pecel all this time. Pecel in Madiun is made from peanut sauce, not common peanut sauce, but Madiun’s Style Peanut Sauce. Made from peanut (of course, duh!), chilli (or not if you are not Indonesian a.k.a coward), brown sugar, onion, garlic, some salt, pepper, terasi (some kind of fermented prawn paste, smells like sh*t FYI), and the unique grated lime skin (or its leaves, vary through area). If you said “eh, but Akhnaf, I did ate some Pecel in some 'place'.”, let me make this certain, if there is no lime flavour and not like a peanut paste, you got different thing my friend.

Why Is It Perfect?
You might be wondering why I said this is perfect? It’s only a food with peanut sauce in it.
Well... It is true that is a food with a peanut sauce,
but Pecel is not a fixed food. You can combine all the side dish that you want
in it! You feel so hungry and you might eat someone, put that chicken or lam or
beef meat in it. You feel that you are similar to meat that I mention earlier?
Just go herbivore mode and put that rice along with vegetables (It also vary, I
allow you to say WTF at this moment). Or maybe you are on a diet, propaganda
that forbid you to eat good food? Just made it a smaller version without any
rice. It still good that you will have another serving!
"Akhnaf, where's DaProof??"

"Oh... Yeah we'll get to that."
"So Yesterday (on 28th March to be precise), my package of Madiun's Pecel had arrived at my apartement. Sh*t they took so long to send this thing! I ordered it on 20 of March and it took 10 days to arrived."
